Five killed in Columbus, Ohio, fire
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec 6, 2008 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Authorities say a 40-year-old
woman and four children died Saturday in a fast-moving apartment fire in
Columbus, Ohio.
The fire started about 1 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Townhomes, killing the woman
and children ages 12, 10, 7 and 5, firefighters told WBNS-TV, Columbus.
The names of the victims were not released, WBNS-TV reported, noting several
apartment units were destroyed in the fire. The cause of the fire was under
investigation.
